Beeswax is a fatty waxy solid secreted by worker bees from their wax glands in order to construct and cover their hives. The original wax exhibits a brownish yellow color due to the mixture of pollen, honey, and many impurities, with a special odor.Beeswax is now widely used in the modern industry. 蜂蜡一般可分为西蜂蜡系列和东蜂蜡系列。西蜂蜡系列蜂蜡具有较高的酸值（17-24），而东方蜂蜡系列蜂蜡的酸值较低（5-8）。
